Yay! we got new couches...

Last week we made our first big purchase. I was so excited and couldn't believe that we were actually going to buy couches. For those who know Jason he is all about being practical and always saving at least 10% of our income every month. I love that about him, but I have been wanting these couches probably since we got married. I guess he was on a shopping mood on Friday because we ended up buying a new printer and a vacuum. Anyways our couches were delivered yesterday, and the whole day I was just thinking about how to arrange our living room. When they finally came Jason was laughing so hard cause I kept dancing all around. He said I looked like a little girl on Christmas morning! I just love my couches and I am so excited to finish decorating our living room!! I'll have to post some pictures once it's done!

First Year of Marital Bliss!

On January 2, Jason and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary! I can not believe we have been married for a year, time goes by so fast. We had a nice relaxing evening, Jason had to work that day so we celebrated a day early. He came home from work with the most beautiful flowers! They were actually the same flowers from my bouquet, different color but the same flowers. He looked so cute. We got ready and went to Macaroni Grill for dinner, dinner was so good the best part was the chocolate cake even though we were so full we still ate it all. After that we went to see a movie, I am Legend, it is such a good movie a little intense and scary but I still enjoyed the movie. We took a bunch of pictures while we waited for the movie to start and we just talked about all the things we have done this year. We have had so much fun, Jason is my best friend and I love everything about him, he makes me so happy! I feel so blessed to be able to spend eternity with him.

Santa was here!

This was our first Christmas as a married couple and it was great. We spent Christmas eve with my in-laws watching the Christmas story. We all fell asleep in the living room, at like 1 in the morning we all went to our bedrooms. Around 8 am Jeffy woke us up so that we could go and open our gifts. Ahhh we were all so tired but we all got up. We went down stairs to go open our gifts and look through our stockings. My in-laws are the best gift givers, our stockings were filled with yummy things plus gift cards to restaurants. As we open our gifts I had to take a video of my gift to Jason.


He was not happy! hahaha, I then later gave him his Toschi shoes, which he LOVES! They are really nice shoes, I'm so glad he liked them! His uncle who owns a store at the Gateway mall gave me a really good deal on the shoes. We all opened all of our gifts, and we all got really good gifts. One of my favorites was from my brother in-law who gave us a couple gift certificates to restaurants and the movies, perfect for our weekly dates. And of course my awesome red coat that Jason gave me! After the gifts, Grandpa and Grandma Badger came over to have breakfast, it was so good, Janey always makes the best Christmas Breakfast. After breakfast we went to Katherine's house were even more gifts awaited! Katherine also made her famous cheesecake, so good. We ate so much that day. After opening gifts at Katherine's we went to Dale and Terri Grant's house, and yes we ate more food. We also had Wii tournaments and Jason's cousin Kelly got engaged that same night. We also got to meet and hold the twins, they are the cutest babies and so adorable. Jason and I had so much fun holding the babies. I was so sad that I couldn't be with my family, especially my brothers it is so fun watching them opening their gifts on Christmas. They always get so excited. I'm just excited that we will be able to spend Christmas with my family next year! We love being with our family and we feel so blessed to have such a loving family that cares so much for us, we felt so happy to be able to spend time with them. We had such a great time with every one. After all it was a great Christmas.
